Open carry people did this in California where it was legal to display unloaded firearms in public. This aroused the post-constitutionalists who legislated a ban on the open carry of both handguns and longarms.
This can very easily happen in Texas as we are one election away from a takeover by the Democrats at any given time.

Color Guard and Honor Guard without arms? No, no thank you. They should not even march if that symbol of the US is not permitted in full. It’s equivalent to spitting in the face of a Medal of Honor recipient or pissing on a US Flag that is unceremoniously dropped onto the deck.
