From last March? Yes, but this didn’t come across our radar then and this video was just recently posted…No matter, what he says is timeless. Bravo!

BRAVO Aaron . . .well said, and your words resonated with me. I am retired military, and if there is one thing I learned over these past 72 years is the local chamber members weren’t listening to you. Oh yes . . . .they heard your words, but they weren’t paying attention to the content or the level of your passion in which you so eloquently delivered your message. You were on the speaking agenda, and so by law they had to sit through your short speech. Will they act on it? I doubt it very seriously. they have their own agenda to roll with, and some citizen isn’t going to sway they one bit. They vote on MONEY, power, and influence. Your words of wisdom can’t hurt them, so therefore they can ignore them completely. I therefore encourage you to run and take one of their seats away during the next election. Then . . .YOU . . . . . will have the power and influence to act on your beliefs.

Did you notice how fast, when you finished, that the chair called for quiet, and let’s move on . . . .i call it the “in one ear and out the other” syndrome.

If your words had a 20 million dollar donation attached to it, you bet your sweet arse that they would listen to you and vote your way. Fact of life, son. Sorry it has to be this way . . . . .but then again . . .maybe . . .just maybe . . . .you did touch one or two of their political hearts, and something will be done correctly and for the good of the people for a change. I’m holding my breath . . .don’t let me down.
