They’re cheap? All that you need is a $1,700 (Australian) printer.

This seems like a lot of hysteria over nothing. A single shot firearm can be made with $30 of materials purchased at a hardware store. Now you can do the same thing with a $1,700 printer and the gun may blow up.

Call me crazy but I’m not really that concerned about the criminal element getting these guns.

The aussies are so dumb. Screw you ya gun grabbing ninnies. The police, when they want to confiscate arms, are the problem.

Yeah, and I’m sure those weren’t custom, over-pressured loads, or incorrectly 3D-printed barrels ALTERED & DESIGNED to blow up.

So, the Aussie cops would have us believe that they’re such fucking idiot morons (even though they have all sorts of forensic and other technical ‘experts’ available to them) that they couldn’t do what an American hobbyist could do with mere $25 on a cheap consumer-grade $1,725 3D-printer?

This handgun was printed with a $1,725 Lulzbot 3D printer and fired for the first time above. One plastic barrel survived eight shots, and another barrel was swapped in for the ninth, before nightfall cut short further testing.
