Respectfully, I’d rather see a video of who has the lowest prices versus the highest. If you have any info like that, can you put a video together? Thanks!

I stopped buying anything from CTD about five years ago. Even before the current run on ammo, their prices ceased being competitive, and their shipping charges are far beyond competitors’. Best thing to do is take your business elsewhere.

J&G Sales has 500 round packs of 40 grain 22 LR for $70.

Use the site gunbot.com, pick your caliber, and sort by cost per round. You can check the box to only see in stock listings, you can set an alert level for the amount you would prefer to pay.

Personally I won’t pay even that 14 cents a round for 22 ammo – it is still 3 times pre-craze levels. But the video is right – asking $250 for such a box is flat-out crazy. The only thing crazier would be paying it.

Everyone should boycott CTD, and put them out of business

ammoseek.com is another place you can use to find prices from various vendors.

As for CTD, when they went after 2A supporters and started gouging, I said no more. Stopped buying from them, and sent all of their catalogs back to them via return to sender.

They took the hint.

Do yourself a favor and support your local dealers first if you can. Those mom and pop shops are hurting.

The problem is that the Mom& Pop shops don’t have any ammo. One was nice enough to get me my Rugar Breakdown. They couldn’t give me a discount but they got the rifle that I really wanted. They could have raised the price and been axxholes. They didn’t. I will always go there first when I want something.

Please consider using a tripod and learning to use the close focus features of your video camera.

In my opinion… Those ppl at CTD are smoking crack! They act as though they are bringing deals to the table and support gun ownership.. BUT their prices say different. They are like many who have used the current climate to RAPE the public of their money. Their prices are not even competitive and their shipping charges OUT OF THIS WORLD! I ordered aprox $100 in various ammo, nothing fancy and the shipping ended up being like $60 as it came from numerous warehouses… or so they say. Funny that when I order from places like newegg, buying items that weigh as much or more then the ammo did, that they can ship from Cali and NJ (a complete PC in parts and 24″ Monitor and 500 DVDRW’s) and it costs less in shipping then what one of the orders (2-20rnd boxes of .358 ammo) did!! I will never do business with them again personally and advise anyone not absolutely NEEDING something they cant find elsewhere to do the same. Just my 2 cents… Sort of feels like having your preacher molest your daughter when invited over for dinner on Sunday after Church. Say they are in your corner, but really they just want to get closer to your pockets. YES I am pissed!

I really do not know who still buys from them. They have got to be people who are complete and total idiots who have no idea how to use the Internet to check for better prices. I really don’t get it.
