The Mateba 2006M predates even Mateba’s Model 6 Unica, which was floating around itself at least 12 years before Chiappa Firearms released their Rhino. If anyone has a right to cry copyright, it wouldn’t be Chiappa. All that claptrap aside, they’re distinguishable designs. The key common characteristic is that they’re all revolvers firing from the 6 position instead of the 12. Uncommon, but not terribly novel.
