The good doctor has his stats a little skewed, but after watching the video I think that may be the least of his problems.

I have twice had guns pulled on me in my life outside military service. I did not have a weapon on me at the time. Obviously this individual lives in Fantesy Land or in a glass cage that he is oblivious to.

I suppose he does not have the experience of a real world or perhaps he is just fortunate enough to have not had to endure such an event. I would like to invite the individual to perview the many times that people have successfully defended themselves and others while being armed but alas he who would argue with a fool proves himself to be the greater fool……

perhaps we should have background checks for those who write such stuff equvalent to the questions on the 4473 FORM. They certainly incite more unrest than firearms and give so much more false and dubious information that people grasp to to form faulty opinions.

In fact I think that all pubic servants need to undergo background checks, drug testing and have a psychological profile done prior to them being able to hold office. Since they make decisions in legislating and enforcing laws that have life and death outcomes on people and the nation as a whole. I mean one person with a gun only affects a certain few but one legislator, or judge in the case of the Supreme Court. can affect the whole nation. Sure safety would require that nut jobs like Rep. Hank Johnson who thinks the Island of Guam can tip over and capsize or Nancy Pelosi who says that Obamacare will reduce the deficit be relieved from their duties for cause. If they can deprive us of the right of defending ourselves from tyranny we should have the right manifest by a different means. Due process would demand that one right encroached upon should be rebalanced by another right to have prior restraint from those who have serious reality problems.

Hey lets get our reps to author a bill and introduce on the House floor…..

QUACK ! QUACK ! QUACK ! Make your decision on good solid info ? Well doc the stats say 800,000 to 2,ooo,ooo lives are defended each year ! That’s NOT bumper sticker education (where you got your MD license) just fact . The NRA doesn’t “sell” guns, the NRA is one voice for 80,000,000 to 1000,000,000 (millions) of gun owners ! Gun owners outnumber DOC’S many times over yet DOC’S KILL over 150,000 people EACH YEAR with their education ! GFY !

I appreciate the manner in which the man promoted his side of the argument even if I don’t agree with his findings/results. At least he didn’t resort to name calling, attacks on manhood, or the “why do you need” argument. I wish him the best if there is ever a strange bump in the middle of the night in his home.
